Barak: Israel will destroy Lebanon’s infrastructures in case of war

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that Tel Aviv will attack Lebanon’s infrastructure and state institutions in case war breaks out between Israel and Lebanon.

And in an interview with an Israeli radio station on Thursday, Barak said that Israel refrained from targeting the country’s infrastructure during the 2006 July war because of a US demand not to do so.

The Israeli minister hoped that calm would be prevail at the Lebanese-Israeli border, adding that Tel Aviv is concerned about Hezbollah’s increasing military power.
